Slum Children Education Programme

HOPE worldwide-India has been actively involved in various educational programmes instituted in India. With a chain of schools, study centres and other educational initiatives, today it touches more than 26,000 lives. Recently to support one of our key programmes, “Slum Children Education Programme” we organized a book donation drive that is particularly doing well in the capital city. With thousands of books already at our disposal, we are indeed overwhelmed by the response. What is even more endearing is the fact that people themselves want to change and contribute. Not only have we got individual contributions, but quite a few organizations have shown keen interest in our project. And all of it was achieved by changing the perception of people; books that were completely useless to them will now serve as most useful to many.
